The action thriller ‘Monkey Man’ now has a trailer available. Dev Patel makes his feature-directing debut in the movie. The more than three-minute trailer centres on a man named Dev’s quest for vengeance against the dishonest leaders who killed his mother, Adithi Kalkunte, and who still victimise the weak and impoverished on a systemic basis.

The story, which takes place in India, is based on the Hanuman legend. In the teaser, Dev was shown spending time with his mother when he was younger as well as how he lost her. As he gets older, he looks for ways to exact revenge on the people who stole everything from him.

Monkey Man trailer stirs fan frenzy:

On Friday night, Sobhita Dhulipala announced her first Hollywood film on Instagram. Her caption read, “An absolute joy to share the trailer of my debut Hollywood film #MonkeyMan. Releasing 5th April across theatres globally.”  Looking at the trailer, the fans have given some crazy reactions. While they are completely amazed at it, they couldn’t help but draw comparisons to Bollywood’s Ganapath starring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. They believe the storyline of Monkey Man is the same as Ganapath. However, Ganapath wasn’t made good according to the fans.

On April 5, Monkey Man will be released worldwide in theatres. In collaboration with Paul Angunawela and John Collee, Dev directed his original story and screenplay. The movie will be released through Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw and its Universal agreement. Makarand Deshpande, Sikandar Kher, Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, Vipin Sharma, Adithi Kalkunte, and Ashwini Kalsekar are among the other actors who feature in the movie.
