Friends Joey aka Matt LeBlanc says goodbye to his Chandler aka Matthew Perry in an emotional post!

Friends star Matthew Perry was discovered unresponsive at his home. He died at the age of 54 after drowning in his hot tub. Matthew Perry’s death has shocked Friends fans all over the world. Matthew’s death devastated his costars, who were like family to him. And now, Matt LeBlanc, Chandler to Matthew Perry’s Joey, has written an emotional letter to his friend.

Matthew Perry died on October 28th. And the other Friends stars have avoided the media in order to grieve in silence and solace. Matthew’s untimely death jolted them. Chandler’s Joey, Matt LeBlanc, wrote a heartfelt farewell note for his friend just days after his death. He writes to Matthew that he is saying goodbye with a heavy heart. LeBlanc considers his time with Perry to be one of the highlights of his life. He considers it an honour to have shared the stage with him and to call him a friend. Matt promises to smile whenever he thinks of him and promises never to forget him.

The L.A. County Department of Public Health released Matthew Perry’s death certificate a week after he was laid to rest. Perry died at his home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, around 4:17 p.m. His Friends co-stars issued a joint statement expressing their grief over the loss of their dear friend. They were more than coworkers; they were like family. The statement stated that there was much to say, but they requested time to process and grieve the unfathomable loss. They would share more about Perry as they could and offer condolences to his family and loved ones. He was laid to rest on November 3rd in a private funeral attended by all of his Friends costars.
