‘My Multiverse of Madness’ – Sachin Tendulkar shares an image with yesteryear legends on Twitter
The image is from 2014 when these players celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Lord’s Cricket Ground
Marvel’s latest film ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ has been one of the most appreciated films in recent times. Thus, MCU’s latest movie has taken the world by storm.
The concept of the film is about the multiverse, a concept that has been used in TV shows such as “The Flash” and “Arrow”, as well as the popular film Spider-man: No Way Home. For the unversed, multiverse means different versions of the planet Earth where people live different lives in different versions. The fever of the film has now reached the cricket fraternity.
Legend Sachin Tendulkar has posted an image of former players from across the globe alongside him. The background of the image suggested that it was clicked in 2014 during the celebration of 200 years of the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground. For the unversed, in July 2014, a Bicentenary Celebration match in the ODI format was played to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the ground regarded as the ‘Home of Cricket’.
The image consists of players such as Sachin Tendulkar himself. On his left, Brian Lara and Rahul Dravid were standing. On his right, Late Shane Warne, Muttiah Muralitharan, Adam Gilchrist, and Paul Collingwood were standing. Behind him on the left, players such as Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Tino Best, and Shahid Afridi were there. Just behind the 2011 World Cup winner, Kevin Pietersen, Shaun Tait, Aaron Finch, Daniel Vettori, and Umar Gul were there. The image was captioned ‘My Multiverse of Madness’.

Notably, Shane Warne is no more as he died of a heart attack on March 4. At that time, he was on a vacation with his friends in Thailand. His death had shocked the cricketing fraternity as he was 52 years and no one thought that he would die at such an age. Notably, ahead of his death, he had done a commentary stint during the Australia vs Sri Lanka T20I series down under. The 1999 World Cup winner was given the State Funeral by the Victoria State Government at the start of April this year. Thousands of people including famous celebrities had given him the final goodbye.
