The new song “Single Soon” by pop artist and actress Selena Gomez will be published on Friday. Gomez shared a clip of herself saying a line from Sex in the City on Instagram as a little teaser for the song in an effort to get fans excited for its release. With over 427 million Instagram followers, Gomez is the fourth most followed account globally and the most followed female user on the network. Gomez originally teased the release of “Single Soon” last week by writing the following message to her fans.

Gomez hasn’t just teased the song, though; she’s also posted some images from what is probably the “Single Soon” music video. Selena’s upcoming album, which she has only referred to as SG3, is expected to feature “Single Soon” as its lead single. Rare, Gomez’s final album, was released in 2020. Prior to that, she released Stars Dance in 2013 and Revival in 2015.

Selena Gomez’s reel creates havoc:

Selena sings about choosing to break up with someone and how liberating that is in the song “Single Soon.” She attempts to figure out how to end things in the first verse. “Should I do it over the phone? Should I leave a brief note in his coat’s pocket? Should I just vanish? I don’t want to witness a tear, and the weekend is quickly approaching,” she sings. While announcing the song, she posted a reel that sparked a fire amongst the netizens.

Internet is going gaga over her new reel. As the actress looks ravishing, fans suspected that the reel was oddly and suspiciously specific. They believed it was directed at her ex Justin Beiber. For the unversed, Justin Beiber is currently married to Hailey Bieber. The comment section is filled with fans going gaga over the new reel.

On August 26, Selena described the song in a tweet, adding: “It’s a lighthearted anthem about being at ease in your own skin and appreciating your own company… in addition to being a lot of fun to dance to.” The song’s main theme is moving forward, thus it doesn’t really matter who or what inspired it.
