‘Ban this stadium from hosting World Cup matches’- Fans fuming at mismanagement at Narendra Modi Stadium for tickets of IPL qualifier 2 and final
The Indian Premier League 2023 is nearing its end as only two matches are left to be played this season. The qualifier 2 and the final of the IPL 2023 are set to take place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The fans can buy the tickets online as well as at the stadium. Meanwhile, a horrific video has surfaced on the internet which has witnessed a total mismanagement from the staff as huge crowd gathered at the stadium and a stampede-like situation has broken out.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans are set to lock horns with Mumbai Indians in the qualifier 2 match on Friday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Defending champions, Gujarat Titans are coming into the game on the back of a crushing 15-run defeat over Chennai Super Kings.
Chennai posted a formidable score of 172 runs in the first innings on the slow track of MA Chidambaram stadium. And, in reply, Gujarat Titans were bundled out for just 157 runs.
Apart from Shubman Gill, who managed to score 42 runs in 38 balls, none of the batters got going for Gujarat. Rashid Khan hammered 30 off 16 but it came towards the fag end of the innings and the damage had been done.
It was a forgettable outing for them but they still have a chance to make their way into the final. Facing them are Mumbai Indians, who would be brimming with confidence as they are coming off a morale-boosting 81-run win over Lucknow Super Giants.
Batting first, Mumbai Indians hammered 182 runs in the first innings and then bundled out Lucknow for just 101 runs. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav (33), Green (41), Tilak Varma (26) made handy contributions with the bat but it was Akash Madhwal, who made headlines with his unbelievable spell of 5 for 5 runs in just 3.3 overs. He will be a player to watch out for, today.
Here’s a look at fans reaction on the recent visuals at the Narendra Modi Stadium:

BCCI treat fans like dustbin

Poor management by BCCI
— N I K H I L (@nikhilkalavale) May 26, 2023
Typical… @BCCI is useless with these things.. Recent aus v ind women's series was a prime example total chaos no systematic management!

Have always been vocal about the criteria of being asked to collect the physical tickets even when the procedure of buying them is online. Nothing has changed over the years. BCCI knows that the fans will anyhow fill the stadiums and they're not the ones who will have to stand in…

Horrible…. Despite the fact that everything is online, we still need to get tickets in in such a rush.

One Stampede Accident will ruin lives as well as IPL image.
BCCI despite all its money has some really cheap tactics to hype the IPL fandom. They are lucky that India has a big cricket-loving population otherwise this kind of scenario is unacceptable in today's digital times.

@RandhirSingh_C Total mess. Could end up like Hillsborough

Fans also need to understand: it’s because of you IPL earns, stop wasting your precious time. Stay at home, try to book online tickets, mila toh thik or else ignore. Don’t give your time to them by visiting stadiums for mere 3 hrs game.
— Sagar Khandelwal (@Khandelw13Sagar) May 26, 2023
It's Iike people have come to beg for their own tickets. Fans deserve better @JayShah @BCCI pls don't take them for granted. Without them IPL is nothing.
— FIN TRACKER ? (@SlayerSystem) May 26, 2023
Fans need to destroy BCCI's office once else they won't listen and will continue treating fans like trash.
