Punjab could only manage 115 runs losing all their wickets form 20 overs. Delhi’s bowling unit was on song as Khaleel Ahmed, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav picked up two wickets each.
In reply, the Men in Blue and Red openers, David Warner and Prithvi Shaw came out with an intent to finish the game as quickly as possible. They scored 83 runs for the first wicket in just 6.3 overs. Shaw scored an explosive 41 off 20 balls including seven fours and a six. On the other hand, in form, Warner scored an unbeaten 60 off 30 balls including 10 fours and a six.
