Pakistan vs England 2022
Watch: Harry Brook reveals the funny side of security arrangements in Pakistan
Brook scored a blistering 42 off 25 balls to help his side chase down the target of 159 with four balls to spare.
England middle order batter Harry Brook, who starred with the bat in the first T20I against Pakistan on Tuesday, gave a hysterical insight into the security arrangements in Pakistan while talking to Sky Sports after the game.
Brook has also represented Lahore Qalandars in the PSL in past. When asked about the security arrangements for the series in comparison to PSL, he said that even when he has to go to the washroom, there is someone following him to the washroom.
“It’s quite similar I think. It’s funny to say that, every time we head to the toilet I had someone following me. I’ve never really had that before. No, it has been good. It feels very secure over here. We’re enjoying it,” said Brook after the game while talking to Sky Sports.

This is after a gap of 17 years that the England cricket team is touring Pakistan. Before England, Australia toured Pakistan earlier this year and played three series across formats. England’s tour to Pakistan will, however, be limited to only two formats, but the T20I series which got underway yesterday will be a 7-match series.
England’s captain Jos Buttler was not available for the first T20I yesterday. All-rounder Moeen Ali led the England side in his absence. In the absence of England stalwarts like Eoin Morgan who has recently retired and Ben Stokes who is rested for the tour, players like Harry Brook and Phil Salt got their opportunities.
Brook scored a blistering 42 off 25 balls to help his side chase down the target of 159 with four balls to spare. When he walked in to bat yesterday, the game was hanging in the balance. The required run rate was not that high, but it was a tricky deck to bat on and a few more dot balls would’ve increased the pressure on England.
The 23-year-old played his natural game and didn’t allow Pakistan to come back into the game. With this win, England took a 1-0 lead in the seven-match T20I series.
