The Cricket Governing Body has started the registration process for tickets for the much-awaited ODI World Cup 2023 on Tuesday, August 15. Fans were asked to register their interest in the marquee event, which starts on October 5 in India, via the governing body’s website, and thousands are flocking to do so. Starting today, fans can register at ‘https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register’ to receive updates on ticket sales and secure their seats for their favourite matches.
“Fans can now register for Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 tickets to secure their spot at experiencing the joy of cricket in one day. Starting today on Indian Independence Day, fans can now register for tickets, enabling them to receive on sale news first ahead of tickets going on sale on 25 August,” the governing body wrote in a press release.
Ticket sales will begin after 10 days and will be sold in seven phases to manage the demand for tickets and make the process easier for fans. They will have to wait till August 31 to grab tickets for India’s WC matches as the process starts with tickets for other teams. Tickets for the semi-final and final matches will be available on September 15.

August 30: India warm-up matches in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram
August 31: India World Cup matches in Chennai (vs Australia, Oct 8), Delhi (vs Afghanistan, Oct 11) and Pune (vs Bangladesh, Oct 19)
September 1: India World Cup matches in Dharamsala (vs New Zealand, Oct 22), Lucknow (vs England, Oct 29) and Mumbai (vs Sri Lanka, Nov 2)
September 2: India World Cup matches in Kolkata (vs South Africa, Nov 5) and Bengaluru (vs Netherlands, Nov 12)
September 3: India World Cup matches in Ahmedabad (vs Pakistan, Oct 14)
September 15: Semi-finals and final
The price of the 50-over World Cup tickets has not been revealed, but according to reports, it could range between Rs 500 and Rs 10,000. Fans are also advised not to forget to take a hard copy of the tickets as the Indian Cricket Board has confirmed that e-tickets will not be accepted.
