The fourth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy ended in a tame draw. Going against the trend in the first three games, the game was played for a little less than five days. Also, unlike the first games, only 22 games fell over the course of the game. Talking about the game, the Aussies scored 175/2 before the game was called a draw.
After the game, the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were adjudged ‘Player Of The Series’. The former said “It’s been a great journey together. We wouldn’t be the same without the other. He gives me a lot of freedom to be creative on the field with the ball. Credit to him. I thought he bowled beautifully in the Delhi Test. That’s why we’re here.”
