Massive support is pouring in for cricketer Hanuma Vihari after his saga with Andhra Cricket took place. Earlier today, Pawan Kalyan had given his full support to the cricketer on Twitter.
Just a few hours later, former Chief Minister, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu has slammed the authorities. Mr. Naidu assured full support to the player and slammed Andhra Cricket Association for their actions.
It's a shame that even the Andhra Cricket Association has succumbed to YSRCP's vindictive politics. @Hanumavihari, a brilliant Indian international cricketer, has been targeted to the point where he has vowed to never play for Andhra Pradesh.

According to Mr. Naidu the Andhra Association has succumbed to YSRCP’s politics. Calling the move vindictive, Mr. Naidu also said that Hanuma Vihari has been targeted. Finally the former CM ended his tweet by asking the cricketer to be strong.
Telegu Desam Party releases statement –
Andhra Pradesh cricket fans have slammed their board for the saga with Hanuma Vihari. The Telegu Desam Party has released a statement slamming the YSRCP behind the entire issue. It is said that the player who had a spat with Hanuma Vihari belongs to a politically influential family.
One spokesperson of the TDP, Mr Pattabi Ram while speaking to the media said “Prudhviraj complained to his father Kuntrapakam Narasimha, the YSRCP municipal corporator of the 25th ward from Tirupati who forced the cricketer to resign and leave playing cricket for the team altogether”
Mr. Ram also said “The issue between the two players took a twist when Vihari was pressured by Prudhviraj’s father. Vihari was subjected to relentless verbal abuse and humiliation, finally resulting in his decision not to play for Andhra ever again”
Trying to fight fire with fire, Andhra Cricket Association too has put out a statement. According to the statement made by the board “In January 2024, following the first Ranji Trophy game, an email from the Chairman of the Senior Selection Committee proposed a new captain due to Vihari’s status as an Indian prospect affecting his season-long availability. Vihari, in response, expressed appreciation for the decision, leading to Ricky Bhui being announced as the new captain by the senior selection committee.”
in yet another development, the board also put out a statement which blamed the player for the ordeal. According to the Andhra Cricket Association, there were numerous complaints received against the player. According to the board, Vihari and his apparent “abusive” language didn’t sit down well with many.
