Amidst speculations of his breakup with former India tennis sensation Sania Mirza, Pakistani cricket superstar Shoaib Malik wed well-known actor Sana Javed. On Saturday, January 20, Shoaib Malik posted pictures from the wedding ceremony on social media.
Sana Javed and Shoaib Malik were reported to be dating, and the cricket player from Pakistan fanned the flames by wishing the actor upon her birthday the previous year. “Happy Birthday, Buddy,” Shoiab Malik said on his Instagram page along with a picture of the two of them.
On Saturday, Sana Javed posted pictures from the celebration of their marriage on social media. After speculations of his separation have been apparent, fans of the cricketer have been taken by surprise.
Notably, Shoaib Malik wed tennis player Sania Mirza subsequently that year after divorcing Ayesha Siddiqui in 2010. Additionally, Sana Javed modified her name to Sana Shoaib Malik on the bio of her account on Instagram. Sana Javed wed singer Umar Jaswal in 2020; the two parted ways in 2023.
In 2010, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza tied the knot in a customary Muslim wedding in Hyderabad, India. A Walima ceremony was then held in Sialkot, Pakistan. 2018 saw the birth of the couple’s first child, Izhaan. Remarkably, when Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik enjoyed their son’s birthday in Dubai a year ago, the whispers somewhat subsided.

While rumours of Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza’s split have been widespread the couple have chosen to remain silent about their personal life. Only on Wednesday did Sania Mirza publish a mysterious message that gave rise to suspicions that she and Shoaib Malik were divorcing.
