On stage at the CNN-News18 Indian of the Year 2023 event on Wednesday, they also posed for pictures together. Following the release of a video showing their interaction, Shah Rukh is being praised by many for ensuring that Palanivel Veeramuthuvel, the project director of the Chandrayaan-3 mission and a “shy ISRO scientist,” did not hide in the background during group photos.
After sharing a clip from the event, one Reddit user commented, “This modest act of Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) went unnoticed. SRK was too nervous to stand in front of the ISRO scientist who was offering him (SRK) a place to stand during the group photo. However, SRK drew him back to stand by his side. What a gentleman.”
