Yesterday saw the marriage of Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and her longtime partner Nupur Shikhare. On his special day, Nupur dressed simply in a black vest and white shorts, surprising a lot of people. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan was seen extending greetings to Mukesh and Nita Ambani at their wedding venue, the Taj Lands End in Bandra.

Ira went all white for her special day, but Nupur went against the grain and wore a black vest and white shorts. Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta provided the couple with backstage support. Kiran Rao was also seen sporting a green blouse and a golden silk sari. She was seen recording the special moment with her phone.
Aamir Khan wore a kurta and dhoti with a saafa tied around his head. He was seen greeting Mukesh and Nita Ambani warmly as they got out of their car and arrived at the scene. Aamir and Mukesh exchanged hugs as well. Aamir greeted Nita and the three of them went inside. Nita Ambani looked stunning in an emerald green sari for the occasion. The moment was captured by the paparazzi stationed near the venue, and it was shared on Instagram.
Earlier, Nupur Shikhare and his companions were observed dancing to dhol rhythms. Nupur, a fitness trainer, chose to jog to the venue, which was eight kilometres away, rather than do the traditional Baraat. Several videos of him running in the same black vest and shorts appeared on social media.
Nupur Shikhare had decided on a traditional look the day before his wedding. On Tuesday night, Nupur shared some photos with Ira Khan. He wrote, “One more day of being your fiancee @khan.ira. I really do adore you.” Ira opted to wear a red saree and avoid makeup for the pictures. Nupur, on the other hand, is wearing a golden jacket, black pyjamas, and a red kurta.
