Tushar Deshpande, a pacer for the Chennai Super Kings, and Nabha Gaddamwar got married in a private ceremony. Deshpande’s engagement to his longtime “school crush” after the IPL season concluded earlier this year marked the beginning of their road towards marriage. He posted a photo of himself along with his spouse saying their vows on Instagram.
The right-arm fast bowler, who is renowned for his memorable exploits, demonstrated his abilities during CSK’s successful IPL 2023 campaign. In a stunning victory against the reigning champion Gujarat Titans in a suspenseful final at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, Deshpande was a key player. With an outstanding 21 wickets in 16 matches, he was the sixth-highest wicket-taker in the competition and the top wicket-taker for CSK.
Tushar Deshpande credits MS Dhoni for continued success
When he looked back on his accomplishment, he recognised the impact of MS Dhoni. He compared their connection to the position of a soldier reporting to their commander. The pacer had conveyed confidence in Dhoni’s leadership. He had highlighted his belief that the renowned skipper will consistently lead him in the correct path.
Tushar Deshpande had earlier told the Indian express as he said, “You know you have someone who will guide and show the light when things are not going in our favour. He is a selfless guy and keeps things simple. He doesn’t complicate things and will be with you in your bad times. Like a soldier, I will just follow whatever he says. I know he can never take me on a wrong path.”
The Chennai Super Kings pacer added that, “Dhoni plans are very clear that this is what you need to do and then one has to execute. He will give freedom as well and when needed he will put a word. He told me that I have everything to play at the top, just be calm, take a deep breath.”
