To regain the services of their former player, Mumbai Indians is willing to pay INR 15 crore. The Mumbai franchise had to leave out the all-rounder in 2022. The Gujarat Titans signed him, and they went on to secure a title together in the following season. In the next season, he guided them to the championship game as well, but the Chennai Super Kings prevailed.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Hardik Pandya is almost certain to return to the Mumbai Indians through a player-for-cash transfer after leading the Gujarat Titans to great success over the previous two seasons.
Hardik is supposedly going to receive fifty percent of the transfer money that MI will give to the GT owners in addition to his INR 15 crore salary. It seems that Hardik has also been guaranteed the leadership, however it’s not clear if it will take place in the IPL 2024 or the next season.
His first franchise was the Mumbai Indians, where he played from 2015 till 2021 and won four IPL championships. Following his release prior to the IPL 2022 mega-auction, Hardik Pandya signed a contract with the Gujarat Titans. He is still one of the most loved players at both MI and GT.
