The Qualifier 1 of the Indian T20 League 2022 between Rajasthan and Gujarat was a treat to watch for the fans. The contest saw a great battle between bat and ball in both innings of the game. During Rajasthan’s innings, skipper Sanju Samson played fluently while the Orange Cap holder was struggling with the bat. Buttler looked clueless, especially against leggie Rashid Khan.
However, the right-hander made up for the slow innings in the last four overs of the game, and took the team to 188/6. He got run-out in the last over of the innings. After his dismissal, Ravichandran Ashwin came out to bat with Riyan Parag at the non-strikers’ end. Yash Dayal was bowling the over and he bowled a wide outside the off-stump.
Ashwin left the ball as he knew his team would get an extra run. However, out of nowhere, Parag decided to run. The off-spinner wasn’t expecting his partner to take such a risky run. Parag kept running while the Tamil Nadu player stood his ground. The batting all-rounder got run out on the second-last ball of the innings.
