The new poster also announces Deepika Padukone entering Rohit Shetty’s epic cop universe. The actress took it to her official social media handle to drop two epic posters of her first look as a Mumbai cop. She can be seen giving an eerie smile while in action. The poster is fiery and intriguing. Fans of the actress were quick to jump into the comment section to express their excitement over the new poster.
While dropping the pictures on her official Instagram handle, Deepika captioned the post, “Introducing… Shakti Shetty! Singham Again.” Apart from her fans, many celebs reacted to her new post. Even her husband Ranveer Singh who is also a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe commented and called her the ‘Lady Singham.’
The poster features Deepika in a bloody avatar. She is laughing while looking at the camera and bashing the bad guys. Deepika laughs aloud as she puts a revolver in a man’s mouth and grabs his hair with her other hand. The actress is all set to play a pivotal role in the epic action cop series of Rohit Shetty titled Singham. The film features Ajay Devgn in the lead role. According to a Bollywood Hungama rumour from earlier in August, Deepika Padukone will play a significant part in the movie. A source said. “The actress is very eager for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. She has already begun preparing for this action-packed role, which will see her play the first female cop in the Rohit Shetty Universe. In the movie, Deepika’s character resembles Lady Singham more and develops as Ajay Devgn’s sister.”
