Indian film actress Nushrratt Bharuccha was attending the popular Haifa International Film Festival in Israel. Amidst her appearance at the film festival, Hamas carried out an attack. The actress got stuck and stranded in Israel due to the combat attack. Hamas led out an attack on the Southern part of the country where the actress was. Now, Nushrratt’s team has informed the media about her safety. They revealed that with the help of the Indian embassy in Israel, the actress is finally on a safe route back to India.
The actress didn’t get a straight flight back to her home country. Therefore, she is on a connecting flight to India from Israel. Her publicist released a statement saying, “We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home. We are relieved and thank god that she is safe and on her way to India.”

Bharuccha’s publicist refrained from revealing any more details to the media in regard to the safety of the actress. However, they will drop more details soon once she is on safe lands. Ironically, the actress’s last film was Akelli. In this film, she gets stranded in a combat zone. She plays a young woman who is trapped in a combat zone trying to battle each hurdle to reach safety. As per the reports, the actress was at the film festival to talk about her last film Akelli.
Earlier, Nushrratt’s team revealed that she was hiding in a basement for safety reasons. This was when the situation turned very hostile in Hafia. They were unable to connect to her on Saturday, leaving her family and her crew worried for her life. Earlier, the publicist revealed in a statement saying that they are trying to get her back, ‘in the best of health and unharmed’.

Talking about the attack, at least 250 Israelis were killed and a number of others were kidnapped on Saturday during a deadly Hamas shooting spree across Israeli cities. Since the Yom Kippur War fifty years ago, this was the bloodiest day of violence in Israel.
