Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest players of his era. He has made a lot of records and most of them can’t be broken. He faced players such as Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Ian Botham, Brett Lee, Glenn McGrath, Allan Donald, and many more. Despite all of this, Tendulkar happens to be the all-time highest run-getter in Test and ODI formats.
In the longest format of the game, the right-hander has 15921 runs in 200 games. On the other hand, in the 50-over format, the 2011 World Cup winner has 18426 runs in 463 games. Meanwhile, in an interview with Radio City 91.1, former Pakistan pacer, Shoaib Akhtar praised the Master and explained how the latter was resilient during his career.
“I feel sorry for Sachin Tendulkar as he faced planet Earth’s most dangerous bowling attack. He came up against Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis in the early 90s,” the former Pakistan pacer said.
“In the late 90s, Glenn McGrath, Shane Warne and I were there in front of him. He slammed every bowler, including me. There can’t be any bigger batter than him,” Akhtar added.

Talking about Sachin, he has been mentoring the Mumbai Indians after his retirement from the game. This year, he did the same and also spoke to Shubman Gill in his team’s dug out during the Qualifier Two against Gujarat Titans. On the other hand, Shoaib Akhtar turned up for Asia Lions in the second season of the Legends League Cricket early this year.
