Team Updates
Bangalore
Bangalore has put in some outstanding performances. Bowlers and batters have both contributed to the team’s success this season. However, they still need to rectify some errors that have been a problem for them in the six matches. Virat Kohli has not been able to perform well with the bat. He has only scored 119 runs this season.
Mohammed Siraj is another vital player for Bangalore, although he has also struggled. He has only taken six wickets in the season and has an economy of 9.9.
Players to watch out for
Faf du Plessis- Faf du Plessis batted brilliantly in the first match, but faded a little after that. He regained his form with his score of 96 runs against Lucknow. The team’s skipper would want to maintain this form and score more runs against Hyderabad.
Josh Hazlewood-Â Josh Hazlewood also had a great game against Lucknow as he got a four-wicket haul. The pacer has already become Bangalore’s second-highest wicket-taker this season, with eight wickets in three games.
Probable Playing XI
Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Suyash Prabhudessai, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj
Hyderabad
Hyderabad began their campaign by losing their first two games. However, they have since rebounded with four wins in four games. In the previous few games, they’ve appeared like a well-oiled machine, with everyone contributing to the team’s victory. All players have a specified role, which they have lived up to. The orange army would want to continue their winning streak and make it five wins in a row.
This season, the greatest performances have been by Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, and Nicholas Pooran, who have all played significant roles in the batting order. T Natarajan, Umran Malik, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have done well with the ball.
Players to watch out for
Kane Williamson-Â Captain Kane Williamson has been a great player at the top of the order. He has given the team some stable starts along with Abhishek Sharma. However, his strike rate this season is very low (94.77). He will have to work on it in the next match against Bangalore.
T Natarajan-Â T Natarajan has silently worked through for Hyderabad this season. He has picked up 12 wickets in the season so far and would want to continue his good form in the next game. He is currently fourth in the list of tournament’s highest wicket-takers.

Pitch Report
The Brabourne Stadium pitch has been ideal for batters and fast bowlers. The extra bounce and swing have allowed bowlers to put the batters under pressure. However, the batters can score quickly if they settle in. The team winning the toss would want to bowl first in the match.
