Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has come under the ire of the fans for his 2011 World Cup anniversary video. Apparently, in the video, he uploaded various pictures of his teammates from the tournament. However, Singh didn’t include MS Dhoni’s match-winning six although Singh used a photo of him and Dhoni together. The fans aren’t happy with the left-hander omitting the image.
I still remember this when you convinced @msdhoni for review and the best umpire Simon Taufel' decision was overturned, he was shocked too. pic.twitter.com/nCrvFcJaKY

Loved how you ignored Dhoni in this video. He played dirty politics to destroy your career, he don't deserve your attention. Btw, congrats and thank you and @GautamGambhir for making 1.3 billion Indians dream come true. ??

Yuvraj Singh was the Player of the Series in the 2011 World Cup
Meanwhile, the former India player played magnificently in the tournament. The left-hander scored 362 runs in nine games and was the eighth-highest run-getter. He averaged 90.50 including one hundred and four fifties. With the ball, the two-time World Cup winner was the fourth-joint-highest wicket-taker with 15 wickets.
In the summit clash against the Asian neighbors, Sri Lanka, Singh, and Dhoni stayed till the end to take India home. After the game, the former was adjudged the Player of the Match.
During the post-match, Singh said “This is unbelievable. Under-19 World cup, then Twenty20 but this is the most special. For Sachin, for everyone else. I want to dedicate this to my guru ji, for my mother and my friends. Last time we were in World-cup final, we made lots of mistakes. Batting second is lot of pressure but Gauti and MS played outstandingly. They played like it was a normal game. We batted like champions. We don;t have a proper left-arm spinner and so it was my job to do it. Narendra Hirwani has been helping me and I have been working hard. Tonight is going to be good night! Thank you India!”
Talking about the final, the then Kumar Sangakkara-led side won the toss and elected to bat first. Thanks to Mahela Jayawardene’s maiden World Cup century in knockouts, the team reached a competitive total of 274/6. In reply, the home team, India lost their openers early. However, thanks to Gautam Gambhir (97) and MS Dhoni (91*), the team chased down the target and won the game by six wickets.
