In the last three deliveries of the over he picked up the wickets of Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Mavi and Pat Cummins grabbing his first hat-trick. He finished his quota of four overs for the match with five wickets conceding 4o runs. Chahal’s magical over shifted the balance of the match completely in favor of Rajasthan. He grabbed the Player of the Match award for his memorable performance.
After the match the Indian leg-spinner was seen sharing an adorable session with his wife Dhanashree Verma. She asked him about his feeling after bowling a hat-trick maiden over in the match. She also pulled his legs about him being happy with Dhanashree out of the bubble now. Chahal was seen shying and smiling during the entire session. The video was shared on the official Twitter page of the franchise. Chahal has been in terrific form in the Indian T2o League. He is leading the charts of the most wickets with 17 scalps to his name.

Meanwhile, after the match, Rajasthan bowling coach Lasith Malinga heaped praise on Yuzvendra Chahal, terming him the best leg spinner in the country.
“Chahal has more international experience. He is the most experience leg-spinner in the country and in this tournament. He showed how to control the skill. That’s more important for him going forward to prove he is good enough to play any competitive cricket,” Malinga said at the post-match press conference.
“Leg-spinners have more wicket taking options and he showed today how he can get wickets and changed the game in a single over. I think he showed all the leg-spinners that they are the match-winning bowlers in this competition.”
