The ILT20 tournament, which is being held in the UAE, has seen some exciting on-field action. On Sunday, quick half-centuries from Muhammad Waseem, Kieron Pollard, and Andre Fletcher helped MI Emirates post a massive 241 for 3 in 20 overs.
MI Emirates’ left-arm medium pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi, with a three-wicket spell, bowled out Desert Vipers for 84 runs in 12.1 overs for a massive 157-run win in the 21st match of the franchise league at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday, backed up by Zahoor Khan and Imran Tahir with two wickets each.
The game also witnessed a funny incident. Dan Mousley hit a huge six that landed outside the stadium while facing Matheesha Pathirana’s bowling. A passerby picked up the ball and walked away. Not only that, but Pollard also hit a maximum that landed outside the stadium. However, this time, a man walking down the street threw the ball back into the stadium.
