Mahendra Singh Dhoni played his last competitive fixture against the Rajasthan outfit in May 2022. In the 15th edition of the tournament, the skipper had scored 252 runs from 16 games at a strike rate of 130. Only net bowlers are allowed in the stadium. No fans are allowed to watch the former skipper of the Indian National Team practice at the moment.
Prior to Mahendra Singh Dhoni hitting the nets, Dinesh Karthik, the veteran wicket keeper batsman of Indian team and Bengaluru franchise, had started practice at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. The player has come back after taking a brief break from cricket. Dinesh Karthik was last seen in October on cricket ground donning Indian colours.
Before the men’s Indian T20 League kicks off, the Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI) is planning to conduct a Women’s League. Recently Viacom18 has bought the telecast rights. It will indeed be four best months for cricket fans who enjoy the shortest format of the game.
