Right before the teams announced their list of retained players, Mumbai’s star Kieron Pollard announced his retirement from the Indian T20 League. He was always a dependable player for the team in any situation, so it shocked all of the Mumbai fans.
However, to everyone’s relief, he announced that he would take up the position of Mumbai’s batting coach for the upcoming season. It would be interesting to see how well he does in this new role for his franchise.
