All four teams of Group B were in action for their last group stage matches on 30 November 2022. England took on Wales in the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. While Iran took on the USA in the Al Thumama Stadium. Speaking of forms, England were looking for a win to make a comfortable entry to the knockout round of the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
On the other hand, all eyes were on the other clash between Iran and the USA. Both teams were set for an enthralling battle. The winner of that clash was bound to get qualified for the next round of the tournament. However, Wales were looking for a win before making an exit from the World Cup.

Iran vs USA
The USA were pushing hard to score an early goal. But, Iranian defenders were rock solid at the back as the USA players were unable to break them in the final third. Timothy Weah had a shot in the 28th minute. But, his effort ended at the hands of Iran goalkeeper, Ali Beiranvand. But, in the 38th minute, the USA managed the opener through Christian Pulisic.
Sergino Dest provided assistance in that build-up. Thus, the first half ended 1-0 for the USA. In the second half, Josh Sargent managed a shot from a tight angle in the 47th minute. But, the Iran keeper easily managed to deny him from doubling the lead. Saman Ghoddos came close to scoring in the 65th minute. But, his curling effort missed the far post. However, the USA somehow managed to hold the lead, and they managed to win the match 1-0.
England vs Wales
England looked brighter than Wales since the kickoff. Marcus Rashford had a shot in the 10th minute. But, Danny Ward was alert as he denied him with a solid save. In the 38th minute, Phil Foden’s effort went over the crossbar. Nothing much happened from either side as the first half ended 0-0.
But, in the second half, England began the game with more intensity. Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a direct freekick from 20 yards out in the 50th minute. Then, Phil Foden scored the second goal in the 51st minute. Harry Kane assisted for England’s second goal. Then, Rashford scored England’s third goal in the 68th minute while Kevin Phillips came up with a beautiful ball for him. Wales tried to score but no such attacks were found as the game ended 3-0 in favor of England.
