Published on

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) boast a history of significant success with two IPL titles and a recent appearance in the 2021 season finale. Despite recent decisions that may have raised questions, KKR’s overall performance reflects them as a powerhouse in the IPL. With a substantial purse of Rs 32.7 crore and 12 available slots (including 4 for overseas players), KKR is well-positioned for intense bidding and the potential acquisition of prominent players. The franchise’s rich history underscores its competence and suggests that it should not be underestimated in the upcoming auctions.

But with their very own Gautam Gambhir rejoining the franchise in the mentorship rule will certainly fuel in the chances of KKR. Additionally, with Shreyas Iyer also back in the team as skipper, the 2012 IPL champions will be one tough side to beat. However, in the upcoming Auction 2024, the KKR side will be looking to strengthen the side even more.
