IPL holders Chennai Super Kings recently released their list of retained and released players ahead of the IPL 2024 player auction. Just like their tradition (for the mini-auction), they have retained most of their players, and let go of a few. The right-arm pacer made his name during the ODI World Cup 2023 as he was one of the leading for South Africa. He was the replacement for Anrich Nortje for the tournament. Notably, Coetzee plays for CSK’s subsidiaries – Texas and Joburg Super Kings. Chennai might also go for him given their lack of fast bowling resources.
