5 commercially flop Hindi films that won over the critics with rich content!

Even for veterans, Bollywood is an unpredictable industry. The movie’s success cannot be predicted unless it truly captures the hearts of the audience and dominates the box office. There are some extreme flops that, like the massive hits, deserve more attention than they get! There are good movies, and then there are even better movies. Even better ones are sometimes swept under the rug or stacked below a glut of average and overhyped Hindi films that hit theatres every year.

Here is a list of a few such films, all of which were masterpieces in their own right but received poor reviews. In our society, there are films that have generally good content but go unnoticed and thus do poorly at box office records.

5. Jagga Jasoos:

Storyline: Bagchi, Jagga’s adoptive father, enrols him in a boarding school and then mysteriously disappears. When Jagga grows up, he goes in search of him and enlists the assistance of Shruti, a journalist.

4. Nayak: The Real Hero

Storyline: After the chief minister challenges Shivaji Rao to run the state for a day, he accepts and works hard to bring corruption to an end. People pressured him to enter politics as a result of his success.

3. Shahid:

Storyline: Former militant operative Shahid Azmi goes on to become a criminal lawyer. He fights for justice for those wrongfully convicted of terrorism, but he meets an unjust end.

Storyline: Deepak Singh, a former army officer from Rajasthan, relocates to Mumbai with his family in search of a better way of life. However, upon arrival, he realizes that not everything is as simple as it appears.
