Most expensive 20th over by Indian bowler in T20I
Arshdeep Singh had a rough outing in the first T20I as he struggled with both his batting and bowling. Despite being a left-arm pacer, he was unable to make an impact while batting as he faced six dot balls, making it difficult for Washington Sundar to take India to victory.
In terms of his bowling, he gave away 51 runs in his four overs and set a record for the most runs an Indian bowler has conceded in the last over of a T20I inning with 27 runs. This record was previously held by Suresh Raina, who gave away 26 runs in the 20th over of a T20I match between India and South Africa in 2012.
