In the second innings, Dasun Shanaka scored 58* runs in 36 balls, earning him the Player of the Match award. Jake Ball, earlier in the first inning, recorded 3/37 in 4 overs, and Adam Zampa chipped in with 2/24 in 4 overs.

Dubai Capitals gained important points with the win, moving them up to fourth place in the standings. The tournament will end with the final on February 12. The ILT20 playoffs will start on Wednesday, February 8.
In the meantime, Gulf Giants are at the top of the points table, while Desert Vipers are in second place with 14 points each. The Kieron Pollard-led MI Emirates is in third place with 11 points in their kitty. All three teams have booked a slot for themselves in the playoffs.
