Erling Haaland has taken the Premier League by storm following a sensational start to his career at Manchester City. So far the Norwegian striker has scored 10 goals and one assist in six Premier League matches. Additionally, he has also scored two goals in a single Champions League match for the Premier League holders.
Naturally, fans are in awe of the 22-year-old. Recently a video of the player is going viral in which a rival fan asks him to join their club.
The video, shot by danielfitton/TT, shows Haaland walking on the sidewalk as they approach him and say, “Haaland, you came to the wrong side of Manchester.” To which the City player replies, “They love me here.”
The two fans sitting in the car are perplexed at a multimillion striker just walking by himself on the sidewalk. The cameraman’s friend vocalises his amazement and says, “How would you just walk down the street.”
While catching up to the Norwegian, the Manchester United fan shooting the video says, “Come to us next season, United?” bringing out a smile from Haaland.
Seeing Haaland grinning at the question, the fan says, “Yeah. You know it, go on” and sped on saying, “See ya in a bit Haaland.”

Is Haaland the answer to Manchester City’s Champions League woes?
Erling Braut Haaland came to City from Borussia Dortmund having lit up the world football with his performance. He scored 67 goals in 62 matches for the German club in two years.
Interestingly he scored nine goals in a single match in the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup against Honduras and was awarded the Golden Boot. The striker moved on to Manchester City in 2022 following a £51m deal with the English giants.
Manchester City have won the Premier League five times in the last six years however the big trophy of the Champions League has still eluded them. The English club have spent a huge amount of money in order to clinch the European trophy but failed every time. Haaland’s signing is meant to bring Champions League glory to Manchester City.
