‘You’re no brother of mine’ – Michael Hussey and David Hussey engage in hilarious banter during BBL 2022-23

The Big Bash League is one of the most entertaining cricket leagues in the world and the ongoing season has lived up to its reputation by entertaining the fans both on and off the field. The Match 20 of the ongoing season left no stone unturned to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. While there was some mouth-watering cricketing action on display during the match, a hilarious conversation between brother duo Michael Hussey and David Hussey managed to tickle the ribs of everyone.
The Hussey brothers had a great time on air as both of them took turns and took a swipe at the other. The incident happened during the 20th match between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars played at the Perth Stadium, Perth on Thursday.
Michael Hussey was part of the commentary panel which also involved West Indies’ legend Brian Lara and sports broadcaster Corbin Middlemas during the game. As the cameraman got to know that Michael Hussey was in the commentary box, he cheekily planned to zoom in on David Hussey who was down at the boundary rope for a chat.
Mike Hussey pinged his younger brother David Hussey and started the conversation and the younger brother jokingly told Mike Hussey that he is a disgrace of a human being and that he is not his brother. The friendly banter featuring Mike and David left everyone bursting with laughter as the brothers jokingly roasted each other.

“G’day David it’s your brother Michael here, merry Christmas,” said the former Australian cricketer Mike Hussey.
“You’re no brother of mine, you’re a disgrace of a human being, I’ve heard what you’ve been saying about me. You and I are finished,” replied David Hussey.
“Say G’day to mum for us,” said Michael Hussey
“She doesn’t like you mate, you’re out of the will. You’re out,” replied David Hussey.
While David Hussey, coach of Melbourne Stars had a great time off-the-field, he was left disappointed with his team’s performance on the field as they received a crushing defeat by Perth Scorchers who won the game by six wickets.
