‘Yeh toh fattu nikla’ – Virat Kohli reveals he is afraid to try UFC Mixed Martial Arts
Georges St Pierre is a former two-division UFC Champion.
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli generally remains animated and aggressive on the field while playing. He plays with pure passion and determination in every format and never produces a dull moment during the match whether it is against big teams or small. He is an inspiration for many young cricketers for his contributions to the game.
Meanwhile, recently, the 34-year-old revealed the one sport he is scared to play. Kohli shared a video on Twitter and revealed many secrets about himself like his favorite cheat meal and many more. However, the most interesting revelation that he made was he is scared to take part in UFC Mix Martial Arts.
Talking about Kohli’s recent performance in the longest format of the game, he failed to produce a big inning in the first Test as he scored only 12 runs in the match. Many fans were expecting him to score a hundred in the longest format but that didn’t happen. However, he returned to play in the second Test in Delhi and was looking well before getting controversially dismissed.
The moment when GSP called Virat Kohli to the octagon
Kohli has an old relationship with UFC as in 2016, one of the greatest UFC fighters Georges St Pierre invited the former Indian cricket team captain to enter the octagon. It started when the Indian Cricket Board tweeted a picture of the Indian cricket Team interacting with NBA stars in the United States. It is heard that GSP generally follows cricket and invited Virat Kohi to get some tips.
“Welcome to America @imVkohli! Show me how you run the pitch and I’ll show you how to own the octagon #TeamIndiainUSA,” GSP tweeted.
Virat Kohli quickly accepted his proposal and said he would love to step inside the octagon. Kohli said that he is interested in learning the MMA moves, looks like he’s a UFC fan too.
“Thank You for the Welcome @GeorgesStPierre, I would love to enter the Octagon & learn a few things #TeamIndiainUSA” the Cricket star wrote on his Twitter.
