Pakistan once again bowed out of the ODI World Cup without qualifying for the semi-final stage of the competition.
In a recent interview with the media, Abdul Razzaq went above all bounds while Shahid Afridi as well as Umar Gul were present. Instead of putting an end to or denouncing his words, Afridi can be seen cheering and smiling.

Abdul Razzak spoke to the media as he said, “I am talking about their (PCB) intentions. When I was playing for Pakistan, I knew that my captain Younus Khan had good intentions for the team. I gained confidence and courage from him. Thanks to Allah, I could perform well for Pakistan cricket.”
He added, “Currently there is a lot of discussion here about the performance of the Pakistan team and the World Cup players. I think we have no intention of improving and developing the players.”
Abdul Razzaq’s disparaging remarks about Aishwarya Rai, which were meant for Pakistan Cricket Board, became popular on social media.
He said, “Younis Khan had a good intention as a captain and it gave me confidence to perform better. Everyone over here is talking about the intention and Pakistan’s team. Actually, we don’t have good intention to develop and polish players in Pakistan. If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai, a good and pious kid would be wrong, it would never happen.”
Former players furious with Pakistan cricket team’s performance
Ex-players are expressing their anger towards Babar Azam and the other players. In the international tournament, rivals outperformed them handily. Following Pakistan’s heartbreaking elimination from the ODI World Cup 2023, analysts and former players have attacked the squad for their subpar play, arguing that skipper Babar Azam is not the only one to take the responsibility.
There are no cricket enthusiasts in sight as the players begin their journey home. They are under pressure fromthe media about their subpar performance at the airport.
