WWE COO Triple H confirms sudden demise of superstar Bray Wyatt at age of 36

WWE fans were left in shock after this news broke out in the early hours of 25th August 2023.

Following the unfortunate passing of former Universal Champion Bray Wyatt, it is said that WWE has postponed its preparations for tomorrow night’s SmackDown show. In October 2022, Wyatt rejoined WWE after a nearly two-year hiatus. After making a comeback, he only participated in one televised bout, which he won by defeating LA Knight in the first Mountain Dew Pitch Black bout at the 2018 Royal Rumble.

Bobby Lashley and he were engaged in a feud going into WrestleMania 39, but it was abandoned after the former Universal Champion took a break due to what was allegedly a serious illness. Wyatt sadly departed at the age of 36, Triple H, the WWE’s chief content officer, said earlier today.

Smackdown set to be postponed due to Bray Wyatt’s death

After hearing the tragic news of Wyatt’s demise, the organisation allegedly put a halt to all preparations for tomorrow’s SmackDown programme, according to Xero News. A few parts for the forthcoming Blue Brand show have already been revealed, including Jimmy Uso’s comeback after his twin brother Jey leaves, Rey Mysterio going up against Grayson Waller, as well as Iyo Sky retaining the WWE Women’s Championship versus Zelina Vega.

The tragic death of the brilliant artist has rocked the wrestling industry to its foundation and has a ripple effect throughout society. The incident occurred the night before WWE’s SmackDown programme, thus the organisation now has a difficult challenge in paying tribute to the adored icon.

As it turns out, if rumours are to be believed, that is specifically what they are planning to do. Everything that was planned for SmackDown, it seems, has now been abandoned.

There are currently no meetings related to the exhibition, and all of them have been postponed until further notice as WWE now solely pays attention to Bray Wyatt’s family.

WWE has said that they will help Wyatt’s family in the interim. All Bray Wyatt’s merchandising stuff purchased from the WWE store will now be delivered to his family. Fans are going to have to wait to discover how the organisation honours their appearances on SmackDown for the time being.
