The Indian T20 league is set to get underway on the 26th of March, leaving just 25 days to the start of the tournament. The new season of the tournament will be an exciting one as it will be a 10-team event. The team settings and the dynamics have been changed completely this year due to the mega auction. The season will be an interesting one to watch.

25 wickets for Shivam Mavi
The 23-year old Shivam Mavi has always played for the Kolkata team in the Indian T20 League, and he was re-bought by them this year too. They paid a massive price of 7.25 crores to get him back. He now has 25 wickets in the tournament to his name.
25 half-centuries for Robin Uthappa
Robin Uthappa has been around in the tournament for many years now and has done well for the multiple teams that he has played. He also won the orange cap for Kolkata in 2014, and now he represents Chennai. The 36-year old has 25 half-centuries in the 193 games that he has played. He also is the 6th highest Indian run-scorer in the tournament’s history.
25 matches as the captain for Ajinkya Rahane
The seasoned player, Ajinkya Rahane has captained two teams fin the Indian T20 League. He first captained Pune in 2017 and then was appointed as Rajasthan’s captain in 2018 and 2019. However, he was sacked as the captain in 2019 after a poor run with the bat, despite leading the team to the playoffs in 2018.
25 sixes for Yusuf Pathan in the inaugural season of the ITL
Yusuf Pathan, part of the title-winning Rajasthan team in 2008, had a great season. He had a strike rate close to 180 in the 16 matches that he played. He hit four half-centuries that season in his score of 435 runs. The power-hitter hit 25 sixes throughout the season.
