‘When did this happen?’ – Fans react as Pragyan Ojha reveals that Indian skipper delivered milk packets to buy his cricket kit
Ex-India left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha recalled one of his first conversations with Rohit Sharma.
Ex-India left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha recalled one of his first conversations with Rohit Sharma, emphasising how the India captain came from humble beginnings and rose to international prominence. Ojha and Rohit were childhood friends who went on to play for the Deccan team in the inaugural Indian T20 League.
Ojha revealed that Rohit got emotional when he discussed his background and the struggle for buying kits during his early days in competitive cricket. Ojha and Rohit played together for Deccan before the former went on to play for Mumbai. The two cricketers also worked together in Mumbai, where they were part of successful campaigns in 2013 and 2015.
The two played 24 matches for India, including 2 Tests, together and have been good friends off the field since. Ojha revealed that he first met Rohit at a U-15 national camp and recalled how much buzz there was about the then-Mumbai teenager’s talent.
“When I first met Rohit in the U-15 national camp, everyone said he was a very special player. There, I played against him and took his wicket. Rohit was a typical Bombay guy who didn’t speak much but was aggressive when he played. In fact, I was very surprised as to why he was being so aggressive with me when we didn’t know each other! But after that our friendship began to grow,” Ojha recalled in an interview with Jio Cinema.
Here is how Twitter reacted to Pragyan Ojha’s revelation about Rohit Sharma
When did this happen? Yes his family wasn't financially well off and that's documented but this?? He has been playing for Mumbai from age group, never heard this from either Rohit or his coach dinesh lad.

No matter how much you troll any cricketer be it Rohit Virat or Dhoni but one thing is they have achieved so much which these trollers would never be able to do it.
