Pakistan vs England 2022
‘What a series it’s been to watch’- Ben Stokes Cheers For England Ahead Of The Series Decider Against Pakistan
Pakistan vs England series is tied at 3-3.
With the series levelled at 3-3, Pakistan and England will clash in the series decider today. The sixth T20I between Pakistan and England tipped in favour of the visitors. The seven-match-long thrilling series is set for the finale in Lahore.
England’s red-ball skipper and fiery all-rounder Ben Stokes, like many others, is looking forward to the final match of the tense T20I series. England’s white-ball team has been engrossed in an enthralling series despite the absence of several key senior players such as Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes for the tour.
The 17-year wait for England’s arrival in the country has been well worth it, as the two sides have played some intense games over the last few weeks. Stokes, England’s newly appointed Test captain, will join the squad for the T20 World Cup in Australia after being rested for the current series.
Like many cricket fans, the all-rounder has been awestruck by the series, which has produced some excellent nail-biters. With the series tied at three games apiece, Stokes has backed his countrymen to cross the finish line in the final match and claim a famous series victory. “What a series it’s been to watch come on @englandcricket,” he wrote.

As for the series, England suffered a major setback in the buildup to the country’s first visit in 17 years. Captain Jos Buttler had been in doubt of the seven-match series, and he hasn’t played a game yet. However, the visitors have worked hard, with some notable performances from youngsters vying for a place in the white-ball side.
While Pakistan won two thrilling last-over victories to take a 3-2 series lead, England’s Phil Salt threw a wrench in the host’s plans to win the match with a blistering batting display in the sixth T20I. Pakistan’s decision to rest the series’ leading run-scorer, Mohammad Rizwan, and the series’ leading wicket-taker, Haris Rauf, proved costly, as they will now face the visitors in another hotly contested match.
