West Indies set to host India in July-August, schedule out!

West Indies cricket has confirmed that they will host India for a complete white-ball series

West Indies cricket have confirmed that Bangladesh, India, and New Zealand will visit the country for a three-month international jam-packed schedule from July to August. India will visit the West Indies for a three-match ODI series beginning on July 22 and a five-match T20 International series ending on August 7.

India is now slated to play a five-match T20I series against South Africa at home beginning June 9, while another group of Test players will go to England for a one-off Test beginning July 1. The Test match will be followed by three T20Is and three ODIs before the tour concludes on July 17.

The matches will be important in the preparation for the upcoming 20-20 World Cup scheduled in Australia later this year. The Rohit Sharma-led team would want to make the best of these matches to be ready for the important tournament.

West Indies cricket CEO Johny Grave was pleased to announce the international home schedule for the remainder of 2022 in a statement, and he thanked fans for their support in hosting around the Caribbean.

“We are delighted to announce the match schedule for the men’s international calendar at home for the rest of the year. We know our supporters will be delighted with the news that the matches are being played all across the region as well as those living in the USA will be able to see their favourite players in action,”  Johnny Grave, CEO of CWI said in his statement.
