Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan again partnered in the second T20I after losing the first T20I against England. To the team's delight, the pair managed to score the remaining 200 all by themselves and recorded the second-highest opening partnership without a loss.
This is the most prolific opening partnership in the history of T20Is. This record was set by the team when they played Bulgaria in May 2022. At the conclusion of the innings, the pair added 213 runs together without losing a wicket.
