Kohli currently has 71 international centuries to his name and is level with Ricky Ponting in the second spot on the list of most hundreds by a player. Once again, it’s Sachin Tendulkar who sits on top with 100 centuries. It seems unlikely that Virat will get to Tendulkar.
In his three appearances in the ODI World Cup, he has amassed 1030 runs in 26 matches at an average of 46.81 with two centuries. Kohli is over 1200 runs away from Tendulkar and might play in just one more edition of the grand event.
Virat Kohli made his Test debut in 2011 and has gone on to play 102 Tests scoring 8074 runs at an average of 49.53 having 27 centuries to his name. At 34, Kohli is too far behind Tendulkar, and it seems unlikely that he will surpass the master blaster.
