ODI World Cup 2023 : How Afghanistan can still qualify for semi-final?
1. Three wins
If Afghanistan wins three of their next three games, they will reach 12 points. If either Australia or New Zealand loses two or more games, Afghanistan will advance to the top four.
2. Two wins
If Afghanistan wins two of their next three games, including one against South Africa, they will have a chance to reach the semifinals. If South Africa also loses to New Zealand and India, Afghanistan's semi-final hopes will be alive.
3. Win all games
If Afghanistan wins all their remaining games, they will also end on 12 points. The team with the better net run-rate (NRR) will progress further.
