5. Vijay Shankar

Vijay Shankar played 4 matches last season and scored only 19 runs at an average of 4.75. Keeping in mind his performances in the cash-rich event in the last few seasons and increased competition for places, you don’t expect any franchise to bid for Shankar at the 2023 Indian T20 League auction

4. David Willey

Willey was part of the England squad at the World Cup but didn’t play any game. He is also likely to be part of the auction but the franchises are unlikely to bid for him.

3. Mohammad Nabi

Kolkata franchise bought the services of Mohammad Nabi at the auction for the 2022 edition for his base price of INR 1 crore. However, he didn’t make a single appearance for the franchise. Besides, his performance in the World Cup as the skipper of Afghanistan didn’t inspire a lot of confidence either.

2. Adam Milne

Adam Milne hasn’t played a lot of competitive cricket, of late, and it’s unlikely that any franchise would place a bet on him.

1. Ajinkya Rahane

In the last edition of the Indian T20 League, Ajinkya Rahane got numerous chances in the KKR playing XI. However, he failed to live up to the billing amassing only 133 runs in 7 matches at an average of 19 and a strike rate of 103.90.
