In the 2022 edition, he picked up 12 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 35.58 and an economy of 8.96. But Ferguson has the potential to stage a remarkable comeback in the upcoming edition. The defending champions Gujarat might end up regretting on releasing the pacer.

Kieron Pollard was bought by Mumbai in 2010. He has been a part of all five successful campaigns of Mumbai. A lacklustre 2022 season saw him score only 144 runs in 11 innings at an average of 14.40 led to his exit from the franchise.

  Dwayne Bravo was bought by Chennai in 2011 . He was a part of the three successful campaigns of the franchise in 2011, 2018 and 2021. He was the first player to win two purple caps in the history but  Chennai decided to part ways with the legendary all-rounder.
