3. KS Bharat

KS Bharat will join the Indian team for the three-match bilateral ODI series against New Zealand. In the absence of KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant, Bharat is in the squad as an extra wicket-keeper. The 29-year-old batter is a noted name in first-class cricket due to his impressive batting numbers in first-class cricket for Andhra Pradesh.

2. Shahbaz Ahmed

India will miss the services of Axar Patel in the upcoming India vs New Zealand ODI series. The 28-year-old will not participate in the bilateral competition due to family commitments. In Axar’s absence, the team management has shown faith in Bengal all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed, who played three games for India last year.

     1. Shardul Thakur

In the past, Thakur has delivered some hit shows to the national team with his fearless playing style. In the upcoming three-match ODI series against the Black Caps also, he will look forward to returning to his old form and displaying strength with his all-round capabilities.
