Cricket legend Bishan Singh Bedi passes away at 77

He was a former Indian captain and one of the finest spin bowlers in the sport's history

He played for India from 1966 to 1979 and was part of the famous Indian spin quartet.

He was known for his graceful, rhythmic action and his ability to generate prodigious spin on the ball.

He amassed 266 wickets in 67 Test matches with 14 five-wicket hauls and one 10-wicket haul.

He also captained India in 22 Test matches.

He was a courageous and aggressive captain, and he led India to many memorable victories.
