5. Wanindu Hasaranga

The wrist-spinner was the highest wicket-taker in the last edition of the world cup. He scalped 16 wickets in the tournament which is also the highest number of wickets taken by a bowler in a single edition of the 20-20 World Cup. He will be once again raring to go in the tournament as Sri Lanka have qualified for the Super 12 stage.

4. Josh Hazlewood

The seamer is one of the few bowlers in the world who are consistent performers in all three formats of the game. The 31-year-old will be once again seen at his best as Australie prepares for a successful defence at their home.

3. David Miller

Miller has been in tremendous form this year having scored 283 runs at an average of 56.60 and a strike rate of 186.18. Miller will be determined to take his team to its first-ever World Cup win in the upcoming edition with his stupendous hitting prowess.

2. Mohammad Rizwan

The Pakistan opener had a great outing in the last year’s edition scoring 281 runs in six innings at an average of 70 and a strike rate of 127. Rizwan has been scoring consistently this year as well having 718 runs to his name at an average of 55 and a strike rate of 127. His tremendous form has seen him rise to the top of the T20 batters rankings as well.

1. Suryakumar Yadav

He has amassed 801 runs in 23 innings at an average of 40 and a strike rate of 184 in the year 2022. He also became the fifth Indian batter to score a century in T20Is against England in July. Yadav is India’s X factor heading into the World Cup and will look to continue his brilliant form in the mega event.
