Watch: Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar left in splits as they get an unwelcome guest on ‘Chahal TV’

Indian wrist-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal never fails to entertain the crowd with his antics off the field. The 31-year-old spinner is known for his short dance routines and funny sketches that he usually uploads on his social media platforms.

Apart from bamboozling the batsmen with his spin variations on the pitch, Chahal is also an amateur show host for the Indian cricket board. He hosts a show titled ‘Chahal TV’ where he regularly interviews star performers of the match.

After the second T20 international between India and England, Chahal was, once again, seen donning the interviewer’s hat as he talked to the ‘player of the match’ Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The spinner was asking the swing bowler about the secret of his success and his approach in the game when the star Indian batter Shreyas Iyer interrupted their talk.

Iyer he came towards them while mouthing some words funnily. Reacting to the sudden interruption by the batter, Chahal said “aapse milte hai jaldi”, which translates to ‘we will meet soon’ as all the players shared a laugh.

Coming back to the match, Bhuvneshwar Kumar continued his good form from the first game as he picked up three wickets in three overs, giving away only fifteen runs in a spell that also included a maiden over. Bhuvneshwar put the English batsmen under pressure right from the word go as he dismissed dangerous Jason Roy on the first ball of the innings.

While it needed an impeccable inswinger to get the better of the in-form Jos Buttler in the first match, it was Rishabh Pant’s quick reflexes behind the stumps that did his undoing in the second game. Pant took a sharp catch standing up to the stumps off the bowling of Bhuvneshwar as he caught a faint edge from Buttler’s bat and sent him on his way back to the pavilion.

Bhuvneshwar got great support from Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal who also picked up two wickets each as India handed a thumping defeat to England by 49 runs in the second T20I to take the series 2-0 with one more game to play on Sunday.
