Ahead of the second Test at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, the Indian players and head coach Rahul Dravid got a moment to interact with the fans. The Men in Blue are in a jovial mood after their resounding victory in Dominica and they have greeted their away fans before the series decider.
In a video shared by the Indian Cricket Board on Wednesday (July 19), India captain Rohit Sharma and former India skipper Virat Kohli can be seen busy posing for pictures and signing autographs. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Dravid also interacted with a few lucky Indian fans. “ Memories to savour. Smiles, selfies, autographs in plenty for lucky #TeamIndia fans in Trinidad,” the board captioned its post on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Rohit also met a fan who had earlier taken a picture with him back in 2019. The veteran opener, who often delivers humorous comments, this time also brought smiles on everyone’s face by a cheeky reply: ‘That’s from 2019. Too much beard”.

India secured a massive victory by an innings and 141 runs in the first Test and now aim to clinch the series to start the 2023-25 World Test Championship on a high note. The upcoming Test will be a huge milestone for Kohli as the right-handed batter is set to play his 500th international match. Kohli, who had made his Test debut against Windies in 2011, will be the fourth Indian player to achieve this landmark.
